Happy second month of 2019 everyone! Whew, let me tell you…JANUARY was something! It felt like the month just kept dragging on and on and on!! On top of it, it was pretty cold near the end and beginning a few weeks ago! Other than that, there have been so many sweet personal life events that have happened and I cannot wait to share them with you! Let’s go ahead and jump in!

There were moments of sun and so, Zelda took advantage and soaked it up! She is the cutest little thing EVER! But hey, I am biased, she is Matt and I’s cat after all.

Pictured above is what I call, “Oh! I love my brother’s house decor, let me run downstairs and get my camera and shoot this chandelier.” I absolutely love to take photos of home interior, it can be so gorgeous in such a minimalistic way. Though I don’t want to pursue it as a career, I still love doing it!

Next up, something fun I participated in! I am all about collaborating with other photographers! I saw a local photographer, Danielle Doepke, ask for other photogs to join in on a challenge, ‘One Photo, Multiple Edits’ so I said, “Heck yea, let’s do this!” Down below, you will see my edit! Next! Here is my internship book I created as well as the book I was published in! It’s always so fun being able to show your work in print and books, something about it is so much better than digital viewing. This is why I recommend purchasing prints, it’s just so much more special to you!!

Last but not least, I took some photos of miss Nala, matt’s parents’ dog! I have to say, this month I wasn’t too inspired to pick up the camera, I think it was because I was so slammed with new schedules and work. I cannot wait to share what spring has for us here soon!! My January highlights:

• Matt and I booked our honeymoon to…HAWAII! It’s been a dream of mine to be able to go! Can you beat hiking the mountains but also sunbathing on the beach? Nope.
• I said “YES” to my dress! Though I don’t want to share it on here, let me tell you, I. AM. IN. LOVE!! I bought it from the amazing Wendy’s Bridal.
• I started my senior thesis class and just had my first practice presentation. It went pretty well! My senior thesis is called “The Photog Planner” and it’s for my brides. If you want to learn more about it, let me know and I would love to share.
• Though it happened this week, I upgraded my camera! I have been dreaming of the Canon Mark 5d IV and I cannot WAIT!!
• I bought tickets to see my favorite band The Maine and also Fort Wayne’s Philharmonic Harry Potter! My two faves!
• I started my last Spring semester for college, it’s getting real over here.
• Published in Photographer’s Forum ‘Best Of Photography 2018’
• I created a project report book for my internship class, I love it!
