Film Feeling
When I arrive at your wedding, I am already looking. Whether I'm stepping into a sun-warmed garden estate wedding or under a sailcloth tent wedding deep in the lowcountry, I want to see where my eyes fall first and where your design guides me.
I shoot on film alongside digital because it allows me to slow down and notice. Every frame is a commitment. What comes back to you is a gallery that displays what you and your guests truly witnessed.

I got married at our local botanical gardens, it was everything I had hoped for. And while the day was a rush of emotions, there was a sense that I wasn’t fully inside it as I wanted to be.
But then, into the evening, after the candles had worn down, and the dance floor carried on, my husband and I finally slipped away, just walking through and enjoying the gardens together. Quiet. No timeline.
That was the moment I had spent months building toward, and I am so glad it’s my most vivid memory.

I read when the weather turns and travel when it doesn’t, usually somewhere new, always on foot, always glad we went.
Maui and Juniper are the golden retrievers who run our household and have strong opinions about when the walk happens.
Most of our best days are spent outside at Lake Michigan beaches, parks, trails, or just having a slow afternoon enjoying the warm weather.

The engagement session isn't just for photographs. It's so that by your wedding day, we already have a shorthand. You already know how I work and I already know what matters to you. That ease shows up in every frame.
On the day itself, I am there from morning through the last dance, film woven with digital, every hour considered. Nothing is rushed. The timeline moves and you move through it without feeling managed.
For couples whose celebration spills across a full weekend, a rehearsal dinner, a welcome gathering, a slow morning after, I would love to be there for that too.
