I know you want your wedding day to be absolute perfection. You have invested so many hours and months into planning your big day. Here are some things to keep in your mind that may bring you some helpful advice and peace.

STICK TO YOUR BUDGET

This is one of the best things you can do as a couple. Sticking to your budget is very important when it comes to your wedding.

Make sure you prioritize what you really want such as; delicious food for your guests, a place to say ‘i do’ and even a photographer to capture these memories for you. Budget everything out and stick with it.

There are plenty of ways to cut wedding costs such as:

• Taking advantage of sales
• Keeping your guest list low
• DIY your decorations

 

I’VE GOT YOUR BACK

It is my responsibility to make sure I photograph every single detail and moment on your wedding day. As a wedding photographer, I make sure we are covered in every possible way.

• Weather. For the entire week up until the wedding day, I am watching the weather (just as much as you are!) Rain can happen! We can’t change that but what we CAN do is prepare for these conditions. I always keep plenty of umbrellas in my car for you and the bridal party. Also, just about every venue has some type of pavilion or over-head cover to do portraits at!
• Planning. From the day we meet for coffee and book your date, I am always trying my best to help you get the wedding of your dreams. Whether it’s providing my bridal guide, recommending vendors, setting up your ideal timeline or even sending you fun ideas ⏤ I’m here to be your photographer but most importantly, your friend.
• Back-ups. This is a MUST when it comes to wedding photography. I always carry two cameras, multiple SD cards and batteries. As soon as I’m in my car after the big day is over, I back up ALL of the images.

ASSEMBLE YOUR TEAM, HIRE A COORDINATOR

Hiring a coordinator or organizer can help your day run smoothly! If you cannot afford to hire a pro, ask your family or friends for help. The last thing the bride and groom needs to be doing is setting up decorations and handling issues that pop up. Sit back and relax!

 

ALWAYS REMEMBER

It’s not about the decorations, the weather, the perfection. It’s about celebrating you two as a married couple and spending time with your friends and family. If you ever get stressed on your big day, take a moment and breathe.

It’s not worth sweating the small things! Not everything is perfect, not everything will go to plan and that is okay! At the end of the day, it’s about your marriage and love. 🙂

LASTLY, JUST HAVE FUN 🙂

Like I said, don’t sweat the small things. Let loose, laugh, and dance the night away! You only get this moment once in your lifetime. You will remember all of these memories that were created on this day. Just have fun!
