Her work is editorial in eye and warm in feeling — soft, honest color, close attention to the details her couples have considered, and the moments that happen between them. She brings an artist's care to what's already in front of her, so her couples get to be present for the day instead of producing it. Most of them leave with a friend.
There’s nothing quite like the warmth of an in-home Chicago lifestyle newborn session, and baby Lilly’s was extra special. Born in February, she has been such a sweet joy to her parents ever since.
I arrived at their cozy home and was immediately greeted by Jackson, Lilly’s big brother (a teacup chihuahua). Their nursery was the perfect reflection of their love for her—soft pinks, delicate feminine details, and the coziest touches that made it feel like home. Lilly was an absolute dream—calm, cuddly, and so loved by her parents. The way they looked at her, held her, and soaked in these early days was so beautiful to witness.
These quiet, love-filled moments are exactly why I adore lifestyle newborn photography in Chicago—it’s all about capturing the heart of a family’s story in their own space.
