Her work is editorial in eye and warm in feeling — soft, honest color, close attention to the details her couples have considered, and the moments that happen between them. She brings an artist's care to what's already in front of her, so her couples get to be present for the day instead of producing it. Most of them leave with a friend.
Liz and Jack’s love story began during their college days when a mutual friend convinced Liz to join a gathering at Jack’s fraternity house on Thirsty Thursday. Their connection quickly deepened through long study sessions in the library, where Jack, also an Industrial Engineer, became Liz’s study partner. Eventually, those late-night study sessions turned into something more, leading Jack to ask Liz out.
Fast forward eight years, and Jack had something special planned. He and Liz had set up a double date with friends, but Jack made a last-minute change, swapping out the original plan for a trip to Italian Fest and a walk through Lincoln Park Conservatory. As they explored the lush greenery, Jack got down on one knee beneath the iconic Chicago Honeycomb structure and asked Liz to spend forever with him.
For their engagement session, Liz and Jack wanted to highlight the city where their love story grew. We took their Chicago engagement photos in the heart of the city, wandering through the stunning gardens near the Art Institute of Chicago and capturing moments with the breathtaking skyline as their backdrop. Every photo reflected their vibrant energy and deep connection, making for a truly unforgettable session.
Liz and Jack are set to tie the knot next summer at The BRIX on the Fox, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with them! Their engagement photography in Chicago perfectly captured the love and laughter they share, and I know their wedding day will be just as magical.
