Liz and Jack initially crossed paths during their college days, introduced by Liz’s friend who convinced her to join a gathering at his fraternity house on Thirsty Thursday! Their connection deepened as they spent numerous study sessions in the library, where Jack, being a fellow Industrial Engineer, became her study partner which eventually lead to him asking Liz out.
Skipping ahead 8 years, Liz and Jack had organized a double date with their friends. On that day, Jack pleasantly shocked her by “altering the plans,” opting to go to Italian Fest and pay a visit to the Lincoln Park Conservatory instead. After a delightful exploration and enjoyment of their time together, Jack proposed to Liz beneath the iconic Chicago Honeycomb structure.
Liz + Jack are getting married next summer at The BRIX on the Fox and I cannot wait!
