This wedding featured many natural details and colors. Forest green bridesmaids dresses, pops of terracotta in the wedding florals, and lots of greenery sprinkled in. The bride wore the classic Essense of Australia gown that had a fit-and-flare fit covered in lace! The groom wore a gray linen suit with a pop of color in his tie.

Their special day was tucked in a corner of the woods with the sounds of nature and peace surrounding them on the outskirts of Greencastle, Indiana. A long gravel path lead to the gorgeous naturally lit wedding venue which was surrounded by tall, vibrant trees. Katie + Jerremy wanted their wedding day to fit the aesthetic this venue naturally showed and they succeeded!

When I first chatted with Katie + Jerremy last year about their wedding, they had mentioned that they wanted to focus on the memories that would be created. It was so special seeing this come to life on their wedding day. It’s sweet of them to take the time to chat with every single guest. They were so keen to take a breath, enjoy the moment and steal a kiss every chance they had. Talk about letting loose and going with the flow (even with our short 1 minute rain shower and hundreds of sweat bees haha)

Their evening was concluded with the couple enjoying the smores bar and pizza while guests mingled on the cozy patio playing cornhole, and a true sparkler exit as they said goodbye and thank you to everyone!

The one minute rain shower started as soon as we began her bridal portraits, Katie handled the rain SO well and I couldn’t have been more proud!

I (didn’t know) that I had about 5 shots left to get THE shot I’ve been trying to get all season, and goodness I did right before my memory cards filled up!
