In September of 2020, Rony and MaryKate connected via a dating app. After meeting on a Thursday, going out on a date the following Friday at a fantastic cocktail bar in the area, they quickly fell in love.

In 2022, the pair were at MaryKate’s cousins lakehouse in Allegan, Michigan. Rony had rented out a private boat (under the guise of her sister renting it), and they cruised on the Kalamazoo river for about an hour. While enjoying their time on the boat, Rony knew this was the perfect time to propose, so he did just that! He got down on one knee in front of MK’s family (and their cute pup Finn of course), and from there it was history. They celebrated with dinner and ice cream shorty after!

I explored downtown Chicago this Memorial Day weekend with MaryKate + Rony and it was such a joy! I also met up with MK’s sweet sister and their pup Finn, the weather was absolutely perfect and I cannot wait for this years celebration at the dreamy Morris Estate, their vision is truly timeless and it’s going to be full of so many lovely moments with friends and family!
