Erika + Pat
A Radiant Engagement in Charleston, South Carolina

A tale of success in swiping right, Erika + Pat’s journey together unfolded. Erika had recently relocated to New Hampshire to pursue her nursing studies, while Pat was employed in the bustling heart of Boston. After engaging in conversations for several weeks, they made the choice to share their first date together in downtown Boston where it began at Yardhouse near Fenway Park. Patrick initially assumed that Erika attended nursing school at the Boston campus, unaware that she was actually enrolled in the NH campus. This led to her getting caught in the peak of Boston traffic, nearly delaying their date by a full hour! Thankfully, despite her tardiness, they managed to have a delightful time together…and he learned that he would be waiting on Erika for the rest of his life! Over the course multiple weekends, they took turns visiting each other, ultimately making the decision to move in together a year later.

It was about 5 years later these two got engaged! They had moved to North Carolina a few months back and Pat decided to surprise Erika with a Valentine’s Day photo session with their pup Bentley so they could fill their walls with pictures. Pat had also worked with Erika’s best friends to pick out her engagement ring which was also custom designed. After picking up the ring the morning of the engagement session, it was time for Pat to propose to Erika. They walked around and took cute photos with one of the prompts leading into Pat getting down on one knee. They made their way back home to celebrate the occasion at Erika’s favorite Asian fusion eatery. They were met by both sets of parents as a delightful surprise, with Erika’s mother even making a long journey of 16 hours from Japan to partake in the celebration!

I am so delighted to celebrate with these two next June in the beautiful town of Charleston at Lowndes Grove!! The countdown is on!!
