A Secluded Spot for Phoenix Engagement Photography

After a full day of scouting, I found the most breathtaking, tucked-away location nestled in the desert outside Phoenix. No crowds. No distractions. Just towering cacti, native desert bushes, and the iconic mountains that make Phoenix engagement photography feel so special. Amanda and Kevin brought nothing but good vibes and their love for one another, which made photographing them feel effortless and genuine.

Amanda & Kevin’s Story

These two are the kind of couple that just gets each other. Amanda (an occupational therapist) and Kevin (a physical therapist) met through mutual friends in grad school, and of course they also matched on a dating app. Things moved quickly and naturally from there: meeting families early on, traveling together, and building a life side-by-side.

Their first date? Kevin picked Amanda up for an early dinner and then surprised her with mini golf. Fast forward 2.5 years, Kevin proposed while they looked out over a California beach at sunset. Amanda’s family were hiding behind the bushes for a surprise reveal, followed by a sunset photo session and dinner with all their loved ones. The next morning? A surprise brunch with even more friends and family. While Amanda had a feeling the proposal was coming, Kevin still managed to totally surprise her with when, where, and how.
