May I introduce to you Mr + Mrs Walters! Audrey + Jake got married at one of Michigan’s finest wedding venues, Inn at Bay Harbor, a new personal favorite of mine! Their wedding featured many pops of blue; the water, bridesmaids dresses, wedding details, even the florals. Jake kept his look classic in a black tux while Audrey looked stunning in her whimsical gown that had the most beautiful flowing bell sleeves and an illusion off-the-shoulder neckline, so obsessed!

Before we jump into their wedding, there’s quite the story about the weather. I had been waiting for Audrey + Jake’s wedding for well over a year if not a little longer. I remember Audrey telling me that the weather up there in October could either be really beautiful or really nasty…so needless to say, I was a little worried while looking at the forecast the weekend of their big day…it was showing RAIN! However, someone was looking out for us because there wasn’t one drop of rain on their entire day, we got SO lucky!! In fact, I was talking with their sweet venue coordinator, Tina, about the weather and she had told me that only FOUR weddings at their venue didn’t get rained out this season.

Their ceremony was absolutely stunning, it had taken place on the lake lawn which had Lake Michigan as a backdrop, so picture perfect! Audrey + Jake added a special poem reading which was dedicated to their pups Kaiser + Biscuit, it was the cutest thing since they couldn’t be there. And as soon as they exchanged rings and went in for their first kiss as husband and wife, the clouds parted and the sun came out. How perfect?!

I couldn’t thank you enough for inviting me all the way up to Marquette last year and this year up to the cute little town of Petoskey. Your wedding was so wonderful and I am so lucky to call you two my friends. Congratulations again on your marriage and best wishes to you! PS: I hope one day I can meet your cute golden babies soon!

It was so cute to see Jake’s sister snapping polaroid pics all day long, I saw a few of them recently and I LOVED them! 10000/10 would recommend! 

I always try to sneak in the mother of the groom so she can be included on their big day too! Jake’s mom was the sweetest!!
