It was their Freshman year of college at the University of Wisconsin when Stephanie + Tyler first met. They lived on the same floor and became the best of friends and since then, they’ve been inseparable. Their first date consisted of dinner, delicious ice cream, and watching the sun set over the lake, so romantic!

About 6 years later, these two were in Arizona for Thanksgiving. Tyler had mentioned they were heading to dinner for his brothers birthday and took Stephanie to a resort where they were supposed to meet his family. They ended up arriving “early” so they headed to the pool and got drinks before meeting with everyone. Tyler lead Stephanie down a path where there were rose petals spread out everywhere and a ring box awaiting Stephanie at the end of the path with a rose. He got down on one knee with the most perfect speech and asked her to marry him. They celebrated their engagement over dinner in a wine cellar alongside their parents, extended families, and best friends!

I got to hang out with Stephanie + Tyler on a busy Monday in Chicago but it was SO worth it, we had postponed the engagement session previously due to heavy dark clouds on our original date, so thankful for these two trusting in the call to reschedule because we had the most beautiful, warm, sunny day! We hung out at Lincoln Park and Lakeshore Drive after a quick location swap due to the holiday weekend. SO WORTH IT!
