This elegant downtown Grand Rapids wedding features pops of blush, delicate and romantic florals, the sweetest wedding party, a dress change for the reception exit, and a dancefloor that was on fire with guests dancing. Mikayla wore the most beautiful spaghetti strap gown with a timeless lace train. Her elegant updo couldn’t have been more of a perfect fit for their wedding vision, it was so timeless! Jay rocked a classic navy suit paired with a floral tie and white flower boutonniere.
Their ceremony backdrop had a timeless feel with the blush floral arrangements placed on top of the gold accent column vases. The same room flipped for the reception that had the classic wooden chairs, a cozy yet open seating arrangement, candlelit dinner, and all of the greenery and pops of florals as the centerpieces for each guest to take in as they ate their delicious plated dinner.
Mikayla + Jay were surrounded with sweet people who have such caring and thoughtful hearts. There was never a dull moment throughout their entire wedding day. Near the end of the night, Mikayla had changed into a fun reception dress paired with platform sneakers. As they made their way through the sparkler exit, these two were jumping for joy celebrating becoming one.
Mikayla + Jay,
Though our time together has been short, you two have been seriously so sweet and fun to be around! Thank you for honoring and trusting in me throughout this entire season of life! Your wedding day was absolutely beautiful and your families were so welcoming! I am wishing you two a lifetime of happiness and congratulations on your new milestone together!

By far one of my favorite bouquets, all the texture and colors are truly beautiful.
All of the emotional moments while getting ready, Mikayla and her mom share a beautiful bond.
Mikayla’s girls were full of so many smiles and tears ALL DAY!
Mikayla you are stunnnnning!
A moment where you just had to be there. Emily you were AMAZING!
One of my favorite things an officiant has ever done is tell the couple to take in all of the smiling guests!
