This late July wedding featured pops of summer wedding colors, a radiant mermaid gown with delicately placed beaded lace, romantic hair and makeup, all in a beautiful rustic property located in the middle of Indiana. For their ceremony, a gorgeous all white barn interior was surrounded by so many happy, welcoming faces. The reception was full of touching details including a generation of love table along with images of the bride and groom at every table for the guest to cherish.

Everything about this wedding day warmed my soul. Jill + Lucas are one of the most faithful, love filled couples and I can see where that love comes from. Seeing the parents hold onto each other throughout the entire wedding day was truly magical to witness, these families are surrounded with such strong love, I couldn’t help but think how blessed the bride and groom are.

During portraits, it was even more evident that these two were made for each other. How they just simply melted into one another for posing showed their strong chemistry, I couldn’t get over it! One of my favorite parts was when Lucas saw Jill for the first time. His jaw literally dropped, such an incredible reaction!

When I first stepped into the bridal suite, it was so welcoming and warm! The soft music in the background, all of the bridesmaids laughing and smiling, I just knew the day was going to be one to remember, and I wasn’t wrong.

Though it may have rained during the ceremony, all that mattered to these elementary school sweethearts was getting married, the details didn’t matter at the end of the day…their love for one another did. During sunset portraits, it started to downpour and these two embraced it, nothing had to be picture perfect and I LOVED that about them. As they said goodbye to their guests, they ended their night with one last dance in their empty venue that now held a special place in their heart.

Jill’s dress is complete perfection and I could not get over the train!

I think Jill is one of the most calm brides I’ve ever photographed, she put all of her trust in the people around her and let the day happen as is and I LOVED that!
