Can you believe we are already about a quarter into 2022?! It kicked off to a wonderful start when Matt, Maui and I celebrated the new year in our pjs at home. I’ve learned these past few years (thanks covid) that staying home is one of my favorite ways to celebrate the New Year because I’m with my favorite people ever.

Though it’s already been a rollercoaster of a year, I am loving everything that’s happened so far. Besides the New Year, we started off our January with our first trip and that was to Buffalo, New York. We headed upstate to celebrate with Michelle + Alex (one of my closest friends), they finally tied the knot and it was such a beautiful day. We actually ended up grabbing breakfast with them the following morning and it felt so special to be a part of that! Hopefully soon you’ll see their faces again, we are hoping to hike together here soon!

Winter started off late this year but it finally made an appearance with our big snow storm, Maui was a huge fan! We also took a trip to Metea Park (one of my favorite places in town), and brought Maui along to enjoy one of his favorite seasons. Besides enjoying the outdoors, we stayed in for the most part taking in all of the new games played, books read, and working on our home projects (one of the biggest ones ever in fact.)
