Peyton + Ryan share mutual friends in high school and so, they were quite familiar with one another. Once Ryan started working at the same Nike outlet store as Peyton, these two shared conversations, giggles, and a little bit of flirtation in the break room. Ever since then, they’ve been each others one and only but shortly after making it official, Peyton decided to go abroad to Irelend for her first semester of school. Because Ryan couldn’t get enough of Peyton, he visited her and thats the place they exchanged ‘I Love You’s’.
It was about six years later when they moved from Northern Virginia to Charleston together, bought a house and adopted a sweet pup named Penny. It was Christmas Eve and they were out with his brother and fiance. As they were taking pics by the Christmas tree outside the beautiful Hotel Bennett, Ryan whispered in Peyton’s ear that it was going to be a special year for them…he got down on one knee and proposed to her!
Last week, I met up with these two in downtown Charleston for the evening and after shortly getting rained out halfway through the session, we decided to finish up the remaining hour the following morning. It was meant to be because it was the most peaceful morning together!! I am beyond delighted to be photographing these two becoming one at Middleton Place Gardens next April!
