A Sweet Savannah Getaway

Liz and I were chatting about her upcoming Savannah trip—finalizing wedding details, revisiting their venue, and (of course) taste-testing ice cream flavors one last time before the big day in June. Somewhere in the conversation, she casually mentioned that Matt and I should take a trip down to Savannah, GA, to hang out and explore. Say no more! A few travel points later, Matt and I were packing our bags and heading to downtown Savannah for an unforgettable getaway.

Before our trip even began, I had an idea—why not take advantage of this time together and capture some engagement photos in Savannah, GA? Liz was totally on board (literally!), and we ended up booking a sailboat cruise for their engagement session.

Sailing has been a bucket-list dream of mine, and getting to capture Liz & Evan’s Savannah engagement photos out on the water made it even more magical. The evening light, the gentle breeze, and the peacefulness of the open water made for the most romantic and cinematic session.
