Sameha and Joe moved to Indy in the summer of 2015 to begin a 1 years masters in biology. As Joe was ready to start his program, Sameha decided to break her new apartment lease to go into the same program.
Just the weekend before Sameha and Joe were to begin, these two, and a few other classmates, decided to hangout in downtown Indy at the Monument Circle (the place Joe and Sameha had first laid eyes on each other). Sameha and Joe realized they had the majority of their classes together and were actually partners for one of the projects. Since then, they would see each other almost everyday ⏤ studying at the library, working out by the Canal, going out on the town, and many other adventures.
Many of their favorite memories are from that year together; visiting Tiki Bobs, Ikes, Jonesey, Mardi Gras in New Orleans, and late nights in the law library. Fast forward to the Spring before graduation, these two were best friends. Since then, their friendship had blossomed into more than what they would ever imagined and now they are so excited to become one.
5 Years later on New Years Eve, Joe decided to take Sameha for an adventure in Indy visiting important places to them. IUPUI Law Library where he asked her to be his girlfriend, Hine Hall where they had their first class together, the apartment he lived at when they started dating, and then ending the night at Monument Circle where they first met. Joe popped the big question and shared all the love and sweet speeches.
I met these two at Coxhall gardens on a sunny…and hot Thursday evening. I absolutely love this location because there is so much variety and it’s all so neutral which is heaven to me!
