Meet Katie + Austin, two high school sweethearts! They met their freshman year of high school and for Austin, it was love at first sight. These two have been through a lot together, graduating High School, going long distance during college, college graduation, becoming dog parents, and closing on their first home in June. They’ve experienced great loss over their time together and those challenging times only brought them closer.

9 years later, Katie thought she was going to “dinner” with her best friend but caught onto something more. As they pulled into a park near the water, she had been led down to Austin waiting at the bottom of the stairs overlooking Lake Erie and the Cleveland skyline. After saying yes, Austin took Katie out to dinner with their families since he knows how important family is to her.

Katie absolutely loves how caring he is as well as how he can make her laugh. How he would do anything for her and that he’s the best person ever. She also loves that he’ll be an amazing dad one day after seeing how he is with kids. Austin loves Katie’s unconditional love and motivation. He knows that no matter what happens, they will get through anything as one.
