Laura and Dakotah live right by Central Park but they’d never had photos taken there since moving to the city. That made this Central Park engagement session even more meaningful! It was one of those classic New York weekends where it rained nonstop, and we thought the session might get washed out. But as soon as we started shooting, the rain stopped which left behind glistening pavement, rich fall color and that dreamy, romantic mood only NYC can pull off.

We explored some of my favorite corners of the park. Iconic spots that somehow always feel new. Central Park is huge, but the way these two moved through it together made it feel intimate, like their own little world tucked inside Manhattan.
