Claire + Patricks journey began when they were just kids, easy to say their love was destined to be. Patrick and Claire’s brothers would play travel baseball together and travel around the country together with their families. However, as baseball season concluded, Patrick pursued college at Northern MI, causing their paths to slightly split but fate intervened when Claire visited her friend in the UP and Patrick happened to be there too, reuniting the two.

It was just five years after making it official Patrick proposed to Claire. Seizing the opportunity while she enjoyed a girls’ night at her future sister-in-law’s home, Patrick orchestrated a grand proposal. He enlisted a company to create a romantic ambiance, featuring illuminated letters, balloons adorning the ceiling, and a path of roses leading to a “marry me” sign. Their sweet pup, Murphy, joined in the celebration, adding to Claire’s joy. They popped the Champagne, and the rest, as they say, became an unforgettable part of their history.

I cannot wait to celebrate the pair at Middleton Place next spring, Charleston is always such a beautiful time!
