“But the greatest of these is love”
This wedding features all of the countryside wedding elements! From gorgeous horses on the property and an all white barn with rustic elements to open fields. Aubree + Spencers vision included a romantic ball gown with a bouquet of peonies, seaglass bridesmaids dresses, delicious southern food, and personal touches throughout their details.
An adorable fact about Aubree’s bouquet is that the pink peonies were the same variety that she used to practice with for her future wedding when she was just a little girl. Not only that, she had a charm in her florals that was a tribute to her family and the love they carried throughout the years. Another heartwarming addition to Aubree’s details is her something blue, a blue heart stitched into her gown.
Just an hour before the ceremony, we got a rain alert…but we kept things going outside and made their ceremony short and sweet. We were so blessed because it never really rained (a light sprinkle never hurt no one!)
Their ceremony was so beautiful with the chapel and country fields as the backdrop. As it was Aubree’s time to walk down the aisle, the barn doors flung open (it felt like slow motion honestly) and there she was, at the end of the aisle. I instantly got chills and it was the ultimate bridal moment. This alone is why I was SO happy we went through with the outdoor option. Looks like burying that bottle of bourbon worked out after all huh! 😉
Their reception had all of the love involved; a table dedicated to all of the couples in their lives and Spencer surprising Aubree with a song he WROTE and recorded just for her when they were dating! The look on Aubree’s face was the sweetest reaction I’d ever seen and that was by far one of the most precious moments of their day!
Aubree + Spencer,
