It was Friday afternoon when Carley + I were texting about the weather. As we journeyed our way to Lexington, Kentucky…we were unsure about the forecast. Our only other option was an early morning call and I am so happy we decided on it! Saturday was calling for high winds, overcast skies, and cold temps, not so ideal for a good time to focus on love. So grateful Carley trusted me to reschedule to the morning session because it was SO beautiful!!

And now I’m so happy to share Carley + Jordan on the blog today! These two are getting married in the gorgeous state of Alabama in 2023 and let me tell ya, their vision is SO beautiful and I am dying to see it come to life. However, before I get ahead of myself, I met these two in Kentucky this weekend at the wonderful Keeneland Horse Track in Lexington, Kentucky!

Carley + Jordan met on a dating app while she was traveling as a consultant in Nashville, Tennessee! Her and Jordan would Facetime every night when they had first started dating, no matter what state she was in, they would make the timezone difference work because they knew they shared something special. Despite the long work days from traveling and/or handful of meetings, Carley would spend hours with Jordan on the phone. They had spent the first few months of their relationship managing long distance but for them it was a piece of cake.

Their first date together was back in Alabama where they would grab drinks at a place called Stovehouse which is now one of their favorites. Because they didn’t want the date to end, they decided to bar hop and continue their long sweet conversations. That very next day, they decided to go on another date since Carley only had one more day left in town. They spent their time together at an adult arcade and bowling with two of Carley’s friends.
