Brandi has been a good friend of mine for a long time now. We met a few years ago at the old KFC aka Kentucky Fried Chicken. As we worked together, we grew pretty close. Nothing says friendship like making chicken boxes, prepping potatoes and cleaning a dirty greasy kitchen! Anywayssss, I felt so honored when she asked me to take her wedding photos. Getting married is such an important event to EVERYONE and I wanted to make sure I captured every moment she wanted. We met up at Starbucks to go over what, when, time, etc and got everything ready…next up, wedding day!
I woke up on her special day, went outside to check the temperature and shivered. Honestly, once I got to the venue, it wasn’t too bad. I went inside, snapped some getting ready portraits and talked with Brandi and the bridesmaids. I did try to take some outdoor photos but I couldn’t put her and her wedding party through that…no one wants to remember being frozen! Any who, she was such a delight to work with because of how laid back and patient she was with me. Weddings can be stressful but she took it all with stride and I think that shows through these photos.
This wedding was casual and full of natural vintage colors, I was beyond excited. Brandi couldn’t have picked her colors any better, they worked so well with this location! The wedding cake, delicious treats and rustic decor had me. I was snapping photos all day because I just couldn’t get over how pretty everything looked. This wedding was one of a kind!
Congratulations, Brandi and Chase! Thank you so much for asking me to take your photos. It was a pleasure working with you, your families and friends.
